I really enjoy FX makeup and prop making! If you check out my photos you will see some of the stuff that I've created.
Boyfriends always seem to getting injured, hehe! Looks like a painful jagged gash. What all did you use?

You have to be exposed to something before you can develop histamines to it, so you probably already know if you have an allergy to latex from gloves, condoms, eyelash glue, clothing, etc.

You can't be certain that you weren't exposed to gloss paint. They paint light posts, railings, doors, baseboards, benches with gloss paint and I come across "wet paint" signs a few times a year. Pregnant/nursing women are supposed to avoid nuts, shellfish and eggs because they could expose their baby to these common allergens until they are two years old (I think that's the age).
I said they'd probably know, not they would for sure know just because they may have not been exposed since they developed a histamine towards latex, but latex is so common in our day-to-day life that they most likely would have come into contact with it.

Does anyone else find that when you've finished creating the wound/burn/whatever, you always think it looks really fake? I do no matter how much work I put into it, but my lecturers tell me that it's most likely just because I did it myself and I know it's fake... if that makes sense! Haha
Anyway here's a picture of what I consider to be my best work. I loved looking at eveone else's too ! Keep 'em coming :P
