New Fyrinnae Shadows released!

If you're a Fyrinnae fan like me, you probably already know that they released new shadows! So exciting! I was sick when they released and didn't get on to snag them (can't tell you how bummed I am ... seriously). Anyway, the shop is down at the moment, but I thought I'd do a post on the new shadows so you know what to grab if you're interested when the site goes back up!

For starters, the new shadows are part of the Halloween 2011 collection, which is NOT limited edition so you will eventually get your hands on these even if you have to wait like me (still stings!).

They are NOT limited edition, so even if you have to wait a while to purchase yours don't feel as though you'll miss out completely!

From what I can tell the new shades are:

Arcane Magic: Alchemist's Curse - pink on black shifting to gold and green

Arcane Magic: Are you my mummy? - emerald green shifting to aqua and pink

Arcane Magic: Bride Of Frankenstein - blue with subtle turquoise shifting to aqua with subtle pink over blue base

Arcane Magic: Raven's Prophecy - black with lime and blue glitter shifting to pink and turquoise glitter

Arcane Magic: Steampunk (remake of old shade) - deep copper on black base with gold glitter and subtle pink shifting to gold and chartreuse

Arcane Magic: Wake Not the Dead - orchid purple base with gold, green and blue sparkles shifting to pink-purple

Book of the Dead - slightly antiqued gold with flashes of multi-colors

Dorian Gray (character from one of my favorite books of all time) - metallic pewter over black base with subtle blue sparkle

Purgatory - slightly metallic red over black base

Fyrinnae shadows are out of this world, knock-your-socks-off gorgeous! I've done a bunch of looks with them and did a swatchfest of one of my last orders. I really should get around to swatching the rest so you can see more. Such variety! Have you tried Fyrinnae before? Are you planning to purchase any of their new shadows? I know it can be hard to purchase at times from them, but it is SO worth it in my book ;)

Extremely busy in the studio today: we're trying to get all remaining orders through 10-3 out tomorrow (store was initially supposed to be closed through most of August and all of September, so this set back a few things), and filling the remainder of the Lip Lustre tubes in the smaller size so they can be listed as stock this weekend. Once sold out in available colors, I don't plan to bring back that size. We'll have the larger size listed, too.

Just a quick note to let you know of the recent cuts, most are rather old shades and poor sellers, though two were pulled as a result of main shade discontinuations by the pigment manufacturer.

@Yasmin Yeah, I did a post on the discontinued shades the day they posted it. Did you own any of them? I have a bunch of them, but most of them aren't ones that I was dying over when I heard they were discontinuing them.

Thank you DJ! I've been wondering how to pronounce it! LOL I didn't own any of the discontinued colors as I've been buying from them slowly simply due to the fact they're often offline on the days I feel like buying something. lol I did order the new shadows you mentioned and can't wait to get the items.

@Yasmin No worries haha ;) Yeah, I literally check the site at least once a day most weeks haha. Gotta catch 'em while they're up! Which isn't always easy! I still have some to buy, but I own a shocking percentage of all of their shadows. Love them!

@Alexis Oooooh so excited! I purchased mine the other night and can't wait to swatch them myself! Don't get too discouraged. None of their colors are limited edition to my knowledge right now, so next time you have some cash pop over and hopefully they'll be up!

The ones that DJ mentioned are on the Arcane Magic eyeshadow which is not up on the main site right now but here's the link to the page. I wouldn't suggest ordering anything right now since the page was removed for a reason. (Probably they need to catch up on Arcane Magic orders.)

@Smashley, only 6 of the 9 are Arcane Magic shadows. The rest are "regular" shadows and scattered throughout the complete shadow list. If you want to find them, the easiest way is to hit the shopping cart icon and use the search field that pops on on the left-hand side of this page ;) You can use the list I compiled above for reference if you're desperate for the new ones! Can you tell I shop on the site a lot???

Also, the site's been down for a few days because of the flood of orders, but I'm sure it'll be up soon. I'd just keep checking like nuts and hopefully you'll catch it up soon!

@Yasmin It is absolutely true! I always suggest stalking the site in my posts on Fyrinnae because there's such a limited window as to when the site is up every month. Worth it in my opinion though!

Mine came today and I did a video but won't be uploading it as it's almost 20 minutes long. I gushed the entire time over the products. I got ALL the new shadows originally mentioned above as minis and regret buying it as minis, I should have bought as full size. If anyone plans on ordering a mini I say skip it and go straight for the full size product instead. The colors are just breathtaking.
