hi there! I had a salon bleach my hair so I could put Manic Panic Hot Hot Pink in my hair. I love it, but it was quite expensive and it needs a lot of maintenance. I am able to redye the bleached portion easily every couple of weeks but now that it's starting to grow, I'd like to try my own at home bleaching and also so I can switch colors easily. Has anyone had any success with an at-home bleach kit for super dark brown or black hair? Would I need to get a powder as well as a developer? Any help is appreciated!

Hello! So, I don't buy a kit, I go to Sally's beauty and buy ion bleach packets and salon care 30 developer and it works wonders and I think it smells nice. You'll always need to buy powder and developer. But ion repair solution packets as well, they help a lot. Are you also wondering how to maintain color as well?
