Any advice for photographing glitter so it shows up in all it's glory? I can't seem to get it to show up well. I have tried with and without a flash but no luck.

You might want to use lighting to enhance the glitter. By having a good light source on you, you can get it to reflect better on the glitter on your face. You also might want to enhance it by playing with the highlights and shadows when you edit the photos. That's the best way to get glitter to really show

Lighting. If you're doing a close up, you might want to change your camera settings. If you have the option, change your settings to macro/digital macro.

That's exactly what i was going to say, just as Jasmine said - check your camera for a 'macro' setting, on my crappy fuji film one i can press a button and it's for close up shots, i use that for mine and it shows up all the colours and sparkles =)

There's a setting on your camera that keeps subjects distant and backgrounds bright (called "SL" on my Sony Cyber-shot) that seems to capture light much nicer than other settings. And for close-ups I make sure it's on the Macro setting. Lighting is key too, you have to make sure it's hitting the glitter so it can relect back and show up in your shot.
