I've been having a hard time trying to find my shade of foundation.. Any tips on how to find the right one and also, what is a good drugstore brand foundation and a good high end one? Any feedback is appreciated, thanks! :)

Knowing your undertone is important, and so easy. I saw on a Sephora video that you just squeeze your arm for a few seconds... for a few seconds you will see your finger's indentation. Check to see what color it is. Is it yellow? Is it pink? etc.
Now for foundation, I am currently wearing a drug store brand. I'm wearing L'oreal Visible Lift, which is like supposed to be their Infallible brand, but with anti-aging qualities. I really like the finishing product; but I set my foundation with Maybelline Age Rewind powder (I'm trying an anti-aging regimine.)
I hear mix reviews about Revlon Colorstay. You can search YouTube for reviews, that's how I made my choice. A drug store brand that has multiple colors, that is based on your undertone even, is L'oreal True Match foundation. If you go to L'oreal's website, there is a questionaire and what not and they tell you what products are good for you based on your skin, your concern's, and even lets you know what color would be good for you. I know you're not supposed to, but I did... and I saw that many YT guru's test the foundation on their skin first prior to making a purchase. This is thee main con to buying foundation at a drug store, it's hard to match your skin.
Now onto department stores. I've tried M.A.C. which is very reasonable. Then I moved onto Make Up For Ever (MUFE). I really liked the Duo Mat foundation cause it pretty much covers all your imperfections; you don't need to use a concealor too much. But I've heard rave reviews about Bobbi Brown. The biggest pro about department stores is an employee can find the perfect shade for your skin tone. They can test out a product on your face then and there... they can probably also give you advice, suggestions, etc. about products that fit your needs.
