I am just looking for summer trends that are really popular this summer. I know coral is a big one but I was wondering what else does anyone see is real popular. For clothes along with makeup looks!

I've been seeing everything this spring to be stripes. It seems like stripes are everywhere in every store that I go into!

I see stripes everywhere as well. I work in a retail store and we have tons and TONS of stuff with stripes. And I totally forgot about feather extensions! I have seen them everywhere but I just totally blanked about them.

oh my gosh soo many I have been loving! stripes are really big esp. because of the color blocking you can do with them!

Summer trends have always been and always will be brights, brights, BRIGHTS! I'm loving lime green shadow (like Bitter by MAC) on it's own with black liquid liner (a la Katy Perry in 'Hot 'n' Cold'.) Oh, and definately corals, they're EVERYWHERE!! I've also been wearing tomato-red lipsticks a lot lately. Whaty'all think of that?

I trended out of Army into Navy! I put away my olive military jacket and pulled out the stripes, navy-inspired pants (high waist and full leg) orange lips and feathers in my hair this Summer! I'm also rocking a lot of saturated jewel toned clothing. When I'm not in rain boots (!) I'm wearing wedges and espadrilles *a little shout out to my girl, Jessica Simpson and her ah.may.zing shoes* and I've been carrying a clutch bag more this year. OH! and I'm experimenting with the cherub look: bright pink cheeks and lips with pink / nude eyes but a fair amount of mascara. xoxo

I've fallen in love with white lacey dresses this summer and chunky 70's style platform shoes. I've also gotten on board with pleated skirts and shorts. Another favorite is the hammer pants, mini skirts, rompers, maxis with bright tribal prints.

I personally think that everything from the 60's and on are back. Anything goes. I love my feather extensions. I took them out for about a week while I was using the John Frieda Go Blonder Controlled Lightening Spray (didnt want to ruin them). Now they are back in and they are wonderful. Color blocking is huge (as long as you do it right). I bought the cutest rompers/jumpers from Express and Arden B. I still love my preppy look (have been wearing this style for atleast 10 years). 70's hippie stuff is wonderful (as long as you buy the right clothes for your body type.) This was a hard one for me to conquer since I am busty on top and smaller at the bottom... but I have finally figured it out. I have some relly cute dresses that are 60's inspired (reminds me of Mad Men clothes).
For makeup I have been wearing a nude eye with a bright colored eyeliner. I have also been wearing an orange blush and I love the way it looks on my skin tone. I have been trying to keep it neutral yet fun with my makeup. There is nothing worse then being hot and sweaty and having a full face of makeup.

My favorite definitely has to be pairing a very natural eye with bright lips. Especially the oranges and bright corals!
Also having a glow to the skin and bronzer. I have a unhealthy love for bronzer. It takes everything in me to not end up looking like Snookie.

For fashion I've seen the hippie look everywhere, with maxi dresses and fluttery sleeved tops, jean cutoffs and leather satchel bags and long simple necklaces, as well as the structured Naval look, and also a super girly trend with flowery dresses or lace shorts. My favorite trend is the monochromatic neutral thing that's going on- I think it's so chic! I really like this combo that kind of blends the neutral and hippie thing (found this pic in a beauty blog):

@Angela... I love that look. I actually wore something almost exactly like that this weekend to a music festival (minus the high heels... too much walking for that). I got so many compliments on my outfit. People were loving my nude top and brown shoes, with my cute cut off's.
