Is there an easy way to de-clump mascara once you put it on. Sometimes I am not paying enough attention and I go mascara happy. I put on too much and it gets super clumpy, or I put on so much it detracts from the look. I was wondering if there is a quick fix, Like a eyelash separating brush or a quick trick to remove the mascara without removing all the eyeshadow.
Thanks for the help:)

I'm sure an eyelash separate brush will be helpful. I don't personally own one, so I wouldn't be able to tell you which brand to use.

Yeah, get a spooly or a mascara wand type tool. :) These can be used for the brows or the lashes. You can get disposable ones for cheap or you can get a brush kind, and reuse it. I have one from ecotools.

I just use a clean, dry spooly and roll it through my lashes. Mainly just on my lower lashes but sometimes my top lashes get clumpy as well.

I too recommend using a spoolie. If you don't have one then your a clean mascara wand.
You can "make" your own spoolie by simply keeping the mascara wand from an old mascara tube, wash/dry it and toss it with your other makeup brushes while throwing the old mascara tube away.

I've had the best luck with metal lash combs, they separate my lashes nicely and remove any offending clumps. :]

spoolies! i love them! i don't find the lash combs work very well but if you have a steady hand and are really really really desperate a safety pin held vertically pulled through each clump works too.

I tried lash combes, but they didn't do anything. I was thinking about using a METAL one, like Tamara's recommendation, but I haven't found one yet.
So I use my spoolie brush I got for cheap. I hear Sally's Beauty has a bunch of disposable ones. E.L.F has them, and some other brands.

I have a Japonesque metal lash comb from Ulta for $8. a little pricy but it is totally worth it! It cleans so easily!
