Ok girls, I need your help. A few months ago I damaged my hair horribly. I had to cut off 18 inches of fried hair. My hair is super dry, lots of breakage, and just fried.

I need help finding a good, deep conditioning, repairing conditioner.

I bought the Fredrick Fekkai Protein Rx Mask for $45, it's all gone, and I'm not impressed to buy it again.

You need to buy Moroccan Oil. It is sooo moisturizing and makes your hair feel amazing. I recently have been trying the Aussie three minute miracle which is great and the Garnier deep conditioner and splint end repair treatment. These are all great products that are very inexpensive. Make sure that you do not brush your hair while it is fresh out of the shower and avoid using heat on it everyday. I keep my hair healthy by leaving my daily conditioner on for about five minutes in the shower while I do other things to get a good deap condition.

My cousin had really damaged hair, from bleaching it, and flat ironing it everyday. I used Joico Reconstructer on her hair and it mad it all silky and soft. Use the Reconstructer on your hair 3 times a week, for 2 weeks. and then start using it 2 times a week (at the begining of the week and at the end of the week, ie: Sunday night and thursday/friday night). Another thing i used a lot while i was in school on my clients was Paul Mitchel Super Skinny. It's probably the best serum ive ever come across.
After out of the shower, towel dry your hair and pump 2-3 pumps into your hand, rub between hands, focus on the ends of your hair, and then run the remaining through out the rest of your hair. You can either blow dry or let it air dry, this product doesnt activate to heat. After your hair is dry and you flat iron it or whatever your gonna do, use a 1/2 pump to a full pump and run it through your ends.

Reconstructer is around 20dollars+ you should be able to buy it at any salon. Im in canada, so im not sure what the states has for selling hair care.
Paul Mitchel is around 15 dollars+ and can also be bought at a salon.
If you try this out, let me know how it works for you! :)

I use Ion Effective Care Treatment and it does wonders, especially if you let it sit for about 10 minutes. Also I think that now that your hair is cut and you're trying to get it healthier, you should try to refrain from chemically processing it and try to slow down on using heat styling tools just to get it where it needs to be. I know it gets boring but you'll be doing a world of good for your hair.

I did this same thing lol! I bleached my hair and fried it and had to cut it off. it was still dry and damaged and i have really thick coarse hair to begin w, it was terrible. my FAVORITE product to use is argan oil. i kno sallys carries a deep conditioner and a serum, I use the serum. everynight i massage it into my hair to coat the strands, and by massaging it youre helping the blood flow and it will make your hair grow faster too :] good luck!

I dont know if anyone has put this, did read through all the comments, but i had the same problem with dried hair cause of flap-ironing well i went to sally's and the had a deal on this stuff all ION. I didn't know cause it being on sale but to my surprised it worked well and the best thing about it, you can use it daily. its not to heavy and the more you use it the better it works. i felt the difference after the first time i use it

I also heard mayonaise was moisturizing, so I tried it, and it was! My hair was soft. Just rinse it out real well and use a conditioner after. It sounds wierd but it works!:)

okay its going to take ALOT of caution and TLC. your going to have to try to prevent more breakage until it grows out enough to be cut off because breakage keeps traveling up the hair strand. 1. the best deep contioner ive ever heard of and rated the #1 by the proffessionals is terax crema hydrating conditioner http://www.flatironexperts.com/Terax-Crema-p/teraxcrema200.htm 2. use a heat protecting spray before you blow dry curing iron flat iron anything with heat. and make sure you check the ingredients to make sure theres no alcohol in it so it wont be drying to the hair. theyre sneaky! 3. dont shampoo the ends of your hair. a cosmotologist trick. only shampo the scalp and as you rinse it out the water causes the shampp to travel to the ends so they get clean but the shampoo doesnt knot it up or dry the ends out. aslo only condition the ends because they need it the most and the scalp usually doesnt need it because of the natural oils your head produces up there and youll have more volume because the cond doesnt weigh it down. but if you have damage all the way up to the scalp go ahead and condtion. 4. dont use really hot water. heat breaks open the cuticle of the hair. use warm water and then right before you get out of the shower blast it with some cold water because it seals the cuticle and makes it shinier. 5. NEVER brush your hair when its went. the hair is weighed down and stretched out with its wet. this is its most fragile state. use a wide tooth come and start from the bottom. also applying some morrocain oil or something similar before combing makes it hassle free! 6. dont turn your heat all the way up on your flat iron! the highest heat setting it made for the most coarse hard to style hair. turn it down and find the right heat setting for you that does the job and it wont damage as bad. the original chi's dont have a heat setting they are just about 450 degrees so dont use those get something with a dial. they do make chis now with dials so just look out for that if you do use a chi. 6. there is now this new product called BIO LUSTRE. this is the most legit product to help with damaged hair. we use it proffesionally at our salon and i swear by it. it doesnt repair the damage but its puts a protective seal on your hair stopping the damage so it can grow out. if you want something serious go ahead and check it out. http://biolustre.com/.and last you can start from the inside and take a biotin vitamin to help your hair grown and it helps with healthy skin and nails too. im so sorry your experiencing this. i hope all goes well!

You should cut down on how much styling you do to your hair. The reason your hair is falling out is because your literally killing it. Now, I don't mean you can't do anything to your damaged hair. When you do use heat or blow dry, use a heat protectant before styling. When blow drying, try using the lowest setting or the cool button. I don't feel like it is necessary to blow dry every time you shower. If you're staying home, let it naturally air dry. What kind of shampoo and conditioner do you use? I use Moroccan Aragon Oil 360 Moisture from Avon. It has made a HUGE difference in my hair, and I rarely use heat. I also use One n' Only Aragon Oil Leave-In Conditioner. You can get this at Sally Hanson. It's one of their cheapest, I believe, yet it is so amazing! I just ran out and I can feel the difference without it. I find that if you wring out your hair before conditioning, it helps dramatically! Leave every product you use in the shower in you hair for about ten minutes to get the best results. To have your hair look healthier and shine, try rinsing with, as cold as you can handle, cold water. This stops frizz and makes your hair silkily shine! I go back to you saying that your hair falls out. Mine used to a lot and I had to empty my brush nearly every day. Would you run a brush through a piece of silk? No, that would be ridiculous, right? Visually, as your hair is wet, it relates to silk. Let it dry, or I find it better to just allow it to become damp. That where the One n' Only Leave-In Conditioner locks in the moisture. If you have to brush it or you're in a hurry, use a wide tooth comb! A brush damages your hair when it is wet. If your hair is just so damaged and you need some more help, there are pills out there. I would recommend a Hair, Skin, and Nails Vitamin. The most important solution for every problem in the world is water! I was never one to just be satisfied with water, and I'll admit, I'm still not. But, with multiple health problems, it has helped me well. The average person is supposed to drink eight glasses of water a day! That's insane to me. I recommend, and going to do, is get a refillable bottle. I'm going to make lines and put a time on each line of when that much needs to be drunken. I hope this helps!
