I'm currently trying to find a good foundation for me to use, but it seems hard because either it breaks me out or causes me to be shiny instantly. Do any of you know any good foundations?

I don't use liquid foundation but I have before, I just use powder and tinted moisturizer now. Here's what I've tried and loved. I'm extremely oily and break-out prone.
Bobbie Brown Long Lasting Natural Finish Foundation
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua
Estee lauder Doublewear Light
MAC Pro Longwear
MAC Studio moisture Tint
MAC Studio Fix powder
MAC Careblend Powder
&& I set all my foundations with MAC pro set powder in 'Invisible'.
It might be your moisturizer or sunscreen that's causing the shininess?

I like Neutrogena's Skin Clearing Liquid foundation. Works wonders when my skin gets over oily and breaks out.

Try a mattifying lotion under a mattifying foundation. Like Clean and Clear mattifying moisturizer (works wonders!) and the new Nars mattifying one maybe? I havent tried it but I had heard good reviews. And then a mattifying powder like Maybellene Dream Mattifying ...Hope that helps :)
