A couple months ago I purchased Eyes Lips Face Studio Makeup Mist & Set. This alcohol free spray is formulated to keep your makeup in place all day while keep it moisturized with Aloe, Green Tea, Cucumber and Vitamins A, C and E.
I initially thought I could use this like my MAC Fix +, by closing my eyes and spritzing it all over my face...
NO!
WARNING: DO NOT spray this all over your face! If any of this spray gets on your eyes or even your lashes it will burn and irritate your eyes, causing watering and your eye makeup to run. If you do get eye irritation, blink a few times and the waters your eye produces will flush it out. If it still burns, remove your eye makeup immediately and thoroughly rinse your eyes.
After my first (painful) experience, I decided to use the spray in a safer (painless) way. I spritzed my Sonia Kashuk Stipple brush a couple times, then lightly stippled it all over my face. Magic! No burning :)
For $3.00, this spray is amazing! It smells fresh, feels smooth on your face after it dries, doesn't irritate my sensitive skin or create breakouts, keeps your makeup lasting all day, and (my favorite part) if you feel like your getting shiny/oily half way through the day - just blot your face a reapply some Mist & Set and your makeup looks/feels refreshed.
I would say the only thing I dislike about this spray is that I can't just spray my face and go, I'm lazy I don't particularly like to grab for another brush and stipple for a minute.
I did buy this hoping it'd be a cheaper version of MAC Fix +, but it's completely different in the fact that I spray my face with Fix + on bare skin when I want a refresher and can wear it all day without respraying, but I don't like to use the Mist & Set on bare skin because after a few hours my skin feels a bit oily.
