I need help trying to make my own skin exfoliator...something that I can use on my face and the rest of my body. Plz help my mom wasn't one to teach me much about things like this and I need all the help I can get.

Yeah, sugar is an excellent exfoliator. I like to combine honey and sugar and some olive oil to make a quick exfoliator. It's good for your lips as a scrub. Salt is also something you can use, I made a mask using it the other night and my skin is glowing because of it.
