Hey everyone do you think its recommended to make a separate resume when applying for jobs at Cosmetic counters and or Cosmetics/Beauty stores? if so what would be a sufficient Objective?

Janella - Yes it is...I have 2 different resumes which I use (or used previously). One is for my main occupation (in the medical field - they don't need to know what I do in my spare time) and the other is just for Hair & Makeup only. =)

- Cover Letter (you can note objectives in the letter)
- Education & Training
- Work History
- Skills
- Memberships
- etc...
(Also include your business card as well)

Definitely have more than one resume no matter what you are applying for. You want whatever you are applying for to be the highlight on your resume. If not, the employer may just look past it because they assume you dont have the requirements they are looking for. Ex: You had a Customer Service job that you did some sales and you are applying for a Sales job now, you would put forth your duties in sales rather than Customer Service even though that was your main occupation. ya know? xoxoxoxo
