It will either be because you are using a cheap polish or you have oily nails from hormones try getting a nail de hydrator

This is an old feed but a member made a comment to treat nails like a wall and buff them! Absolutely not!! Nails are fragile and when you take any grit based file to them even if it's the finest grade you ruin your real nail bed and weaken it. A bonding polish like Orly is a good idea also if you have enough of a nail "tip" the nail; which is taken a swipe across the top of the nail to essentially cap it off. Manicurists will never buff a nail with anything gritty. Some people have naturally oily nail beds and when you get a manicure they wash, and remove the cuticle which is very, very important to get nail polish to stay. If your cuticle is resting on your nail bed you are simply putting polish on top of that cuticle. Dehydrators sometimes work but again this is not healthy for the nail bed, it's used for acrylic prep. Soak your nails in a mild soap and warm water and find a good cuticle remover and cuticle remover tool and remove the entire cuticle. Some do not realize the cuticle can cover more than the bottom part of the nail. Don't use too many layers of any polish at one time as that also makes it easier to peel off. Let it dry for awhile and this should help. I had the same issue and spoke to a few professionals who told me I had oily nails and polish and acrylics would always peel unless I prepped them in this way and it has made my polish last for at least a week and I summerge my hands in water often.
