PROM HAIR?

I was wondering how I should do my hair this year for Prom 2011. I'm a Junior & it's my first year going :) I'm really wanting everything to be perfect!

I have dark brown hair.. and hazel eyes. But I'm dying my hair black and my hair is a little past my boobs (sorry if thats awkward). My mom is letting my get extentions though before it.
I have a strapless hot pink dress with pink and black zebra at the top.
The model in the dress has her hair black and its down and curly.
I was thinking of a half up half down curly type of deal?

Can someone help? Which would look best?
I can post a picture of my prom dress and a picture of me if it helps.

Who is the dress by? A picture would be nice, of the dress, since description really doesn't help.

Depending on the style, have you considered a Grecian look? The hair basically straight but there is a part of it that's braided and pulled up off the face. There are so many ways to make it look modern but still very stylish.

And no I havent considered that look.. My hair is always straightish because my perm is starting to come out. I've always had straight hair my whole life so I'm looking more towards curls.

That's a pretty dress. See how she has her hair in the 2nd photo. She tucks back the side pieces behind her ears that would look nice. I don't like how her hair looks in the 1st photo. They styled it differently for the second photo.
