i have a curly/kinky natural texture and i always use a little bit of extra virgin olive oil to soften and moisten my hair from day to day. Also, once a week i do a honey mask on my hair for a deep condition.

Thanks girl...my hair is natural...I haven't had ANY chemicals in it in over a year...at first I coudn't take it! It was too much work...I've went back and front thinking on getting it chemically straighten but I've decided not to...I figure if I can do it for a year I can continue...and PLUS I've notice my hair is alot healthier...doesn't break off as much or shed as much as it use to...I just need better products to keep it hyrdrated...I love my ojon but I have yet to find a shampoo and conditioner that workds well for my hair...lol sorry for the long reply!!!

I shampoo/condition with Aussie Moist shampoo/conditioner. Also I love using a 25% glycerin 75% water mix to moisturize and Argan oil to seal.

I co-wash with Yes to Tomatoes conditioner.
When I need to moisturize. I find that some water and EVOO does wonders. I also use Yes to Carrots Hair and Scalp Moisturizing Mud Mask. My hair loves that stuff

I use extra virgin olive oil if I am wearing my hair dry and need shine and nourishment but I am also using Cantu leave in repair cream and it looks decent not alot of defined curls so if you want define curls I wouldn't use it. I also use to use Olive oil conditioner as a leave in- after a shower that moisturized the BEST! I also really like Motions products but I haven't used their leave in conditioner but there DEEP CONDITIONER IS THE SHIT!

I use Aussie products!
More specifically I use the leave in conditioning spray. I swear it.
Although in saying that I am one of those lucky gits that actually could use soap in their hair it would still be soft/shiny o.O

Hair masks works wonders! My love the Lush hair mask called "H'SUAN WEN HUA. It has a funky salad dressing smell but it doesn't bother me much. It smells good the day after so nothing so worry about. Its a bit pricey but you can always ask for samples. I bleached and had an all over color in one day and it made my hair real dry. After using this it made my hair really soft and smooth again.

I have kinky curly dry hair and just bought the Argan oil by organix. I put it on about midway through my hair after a shower and comb it through and my curls have really changed for the better. Only about $7 at target!

don't rely on oils to moisturize, oils create a protective coating that seal in moisture. hydrate your hair with water based products and then seal with oil (:
