hey Luna, I don't think it's the primer,I rarely/never use the primer, but again it's individual, depends on your kind of skin and how it will react to the product, that's why products that work for some, don't work for others and the other way around..

Seconding Aubrey--I love love love MAC's Pro Longwear line. It has good coverage and lasts at least 12 hours. Also not bad when it comes to price.
Makeup Forever has good coverage, but I didn't like the way it felt on my skin. It felt oilier--I don't have oily skin (it's actually bone dry), but it made me look and feel oily without constant powder touch-ups. But then again, I use a primer with the MAC foundation, I did not with MUFE. So maybe that was my issue.

If youre looking for full coverage -I always use Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation (It's my HG!). Ive tried SO many foundation from MAC, Revlon, Maybelline, MUFE, Nars, and plenty of others but Double Wear has never let me down.

MAC foundations are such a great product. Any of their foundations work wonders & It's even cheaper than makeupforever...

wooow, makeupforever has the best foundations in my opinion...also, clinique has great coverage, but doesn't make your skin look so flawless as the MUFE one... totally worth the price :)
