I have been on the search for a staple drugstore lipstick for the past 2 years and have yet to find a quality one. I recently picked up a Revlon lipstick in the color Silver City Pink, which at first sight, seems like a nude light coral-y pink, with a bit of shimmer, but when applied to lips, is more pink glitter than actual quality lipstick, and I was very upset. I'm looking for a nude coral lipstick with a tiny bit of shimmer or luster - any suggestions?

For the finish you're describing I'd check out Rimmel's Moisture Renew line and Maybelline's Color Sensational line.
I also found this, which might be helpful:

I like Rimmel's lipsticks and the NYX ones are also pretty nice.

I second Rimmel. I have Nude Delight and it's the first lipstick I've nearly finished. Give it a try.

I third Rimmel. I use Heather Shimmer almost all the time. Every single time I went to pick a new Rimmel lipstick to try I always ended up with Heather Shimmer without realizing it until I got home. LOL Now I know the name so when I DO buy a new Rimmel I know which one NOT to get since I already have it (several). lol

Try Revlon Colorburst lipstick (the quilted packaging). The texture, colors, and wear off are divine! Incredibly moisturizing too :)

Actually, ELF is considered as drug store since it's also sold at Walgreens which is a drugstore. ;)
