I am looking for a face primer...with so many on the market it is hard to choose. Any advice on which one works best?

I like the Biotherm White Detox Instant Correcting Primer. It evens out my skin and has an SPF of 25. It's light and is really good for my oily skin. The other one I love is MUFE All Mat which I use mostly on party nights. You know how it goes. Hee.

for a drugstore choice i use the loreal studio face primer its creamy and velvety on skin, for higher end i havent tried too many but i did like the two face one percelain something ( i used a sample) hope this helps :) good luck

I love my Laura Mercier Hydrating Primer. I have really sensitive and dry skin and I it works fabulous. It feels like lotion on the skin, makes the skin look beautiful and is really hydrating!
Korres also makes a wonderful primer that is really creamy and feels wonderful on the skin! I highly recommend it.
I do not recommend the highly rated Smashbox Photofinish Primer. It is silicon based - which means it makes your skin feel like it's has a silky layer over it (which sounds nice, but can feel strange and be annoying when applying certain products). The pump on the Smashbox Photofinish primer also stopped working - which meant the only way to get the product out was to break open the plastic pump. (Annoying for an expensive product!)

Garnier BB cream can be used as a face primer, I'm sure other BB creams will do that too :) Porefessional from Benefit is AMAZING if you suffer from lots of blackheads like me :(

My favorite drugstore primer is the Hard Candy Sheer face primer
For a higher end product I love the Smashbox Photo finish face primer

err, the monastat anti-chafing powder-gel is a dupe for Smashbox's Original Photo finish primer ( until they changed their formula recently). I ADORE the Vincent Longo water canvas face primer. for something light and dewy, Laura Geller, Napoleon Perdis auto pilot, or benefit Dr. Feel Good ( if you're not acne prone). For mattifying purposes there are plenty of gel products, i.e Peter Thomas Roth Mattfying gel, Mac Mat, Geller, Cosmedicine MediMatte . In a pinch, a smear of deodorant, or Milk of Magnesium does the job.

For me, I really like Make Up For Ever's HD Microperfecting Primer. I personally use the green because it really helps reduce my redness.
