I've been using them for months now, and I've used a ton of different ones... the one I liked the best was by AG... the regular size is kinda small... I have the jumbo one which I got on sale for 25, regular 40... but it will last for probably a year +

Bumble & Bumble Tonic or Sunday are both really good but NOT colour-safe. Kerastase Bain Satin 1 is colour-safe & clarifying. Those are my favorite, not sure if that helps :)

Thanks Jean. I appreciate it. I intend to use a clarifying shampoo once monthly, no more than that. I don't have a color in my hair, but it is relaxed.

Bumble & Bumble Sunday shampoo or if you want one that is just as good but smells like you could eat it - Fekkai Apple Cider shampoo - Amazing, delicious smelling and does such a great job. I love using one of those then a really good mask afterwards.

I know that some people like their Humectress line. I ended up one from getting Vo5. It worked well, and after using my deep conditioner (which I usually leave in for 3 hours), my hair's moisture was restored.

For a good clarifying treatment, just add some baking soda to your regular shampoo. It deep cleans and removes product buildup without stripping natural oils or causing tangling. It's also great for blondes. It keeps those highlights from darkening due to minerals in the water and styling products. Cheap fix!

Ah yes! Thank you Jennifer-Rose! I have heard about adding in baking soda. Do you know how much though?

If you're looking for one that is inexpensive, Neutrogena has a great clarifying shampoo :) http://www.beautylish.com/p/neutrogena-anti-residue-formula-shampoo
