Hey!
So, my hair is about 2-3 inches below my shoulders and I desperately want to grow it out. Till halfway down my back, that too, by summer 2012.
I don't even know if that's a realistic aim or not haha
It'd be awesome if you guys could let me know what supplements you took, products you used and basically what you did to your hair to grow it out.
Thanks!

You really just need to take good care of your hair. Deep conditioning at least once a week, and using a split end serum or cream EVERY DAY will help grow out long. Making sure you have healthy hair is the key to growing it. :D Hope I helped!

Just remember, your hair only grows !/4inch-1/2inch per month. So get ur ends dusted every 8 weeks and keep urself healthy. A multi vitamin will help also because ur hair is nourished by ur blood. When u feel great, u look great ;)

You don't really need hair product, I grow my hair out all the time. All I do is message my head with my finger tips, be sure that your hair is clean. Eat things with a lot of protein and I avoid wearing my hair up us much as possible. If you want a product, look for products with protein in them. Hope this helped :)

When I want mine to grow I take a biotin supplement. I also only wash it every other day (use dry shampoo on the off days!) and I use an anti-breakage product and a deep conditioner when I wash it. That processed helped me to grow out my bob I had two summers ago.
I've never heard of the castor oil! I will have to try that.

Girls if you use the castor oil thing be sure to dilute it with a lighter-weight oil, or else it will leave sticky, thick buildup on your scalp that is a pain in the but to wash out, but it does work, I've used that method before! :) Also leaves your hair feeling really soft I might add.

Thanks for all the advice!
Um, right now I'm taking multivitamins. I might take biotin supplements later on though. I'm scared to put castor oil in my hair, that stuff is so sticky :/
I used mane n tail throughout the summer and for some reason, it made my hair really dry.
But yeah, thanks once again for all the advice. You've all been incredibly helpful :)

My hair has horrible breakage and I get lazy with trims. I've never heard of using castor oil! I'll have to try that.
