Okay, well what I want to do is basically get my bang cut across my forehead (as of now i have no bang and my part is down the middle). I am also going to trim my layers a bit and get a dye job (going from light blond to a dark mahogany brown). I already made an appointment the day before, and I am feeling discouraged now because I keep seeing things (from the reviews I have seen through google) about how JC Penny has some kind of bad reputation. I'd like to know from experience, is it really bad? Should I cancel my appointment and look for a better salon?

I used to go there all the time when I lived in a different county. Never had a bad experience.

The person I get my hair done from now works there! And from what I can tell everyone else there does great work! They are super honest about what will work (i.e. wanting to go blonde and how long the process is)! The only thing I hate about JC Penny's salon.... getting waxed! They do an awful job and charge too much!
But hair cut wise they are great! <3
