Hey folks,
I'm thinking about going to IMATs London on the 4th and 5th of Feb 2012. I know it's early but i'm looking for the best hotel to stay in near by. If anyone has any suggestions i'd really appreciate it.

I would probably say to look at where your train or plane would get in and look around there, as navigating the public transport with luggage can be a pain, I used to do it for uni and I hated it. Getting to the actual place it will be held will probably be pretty easy via tube so I wouldn't worry about that effecting where you stay, though I don't actually know where it is held personally. Price-wise I would recommend staying somewhere as far out of the center as you can, as it would be cheaper, but also check websites for bookings like Late Rooms, as they have options to choose where in London you want to be etc.

wherre is IMATS london being held?

Stay near your trainstation. Bags on the tube are hellish, trust me >.<

I really wish i could go to IMATS! Iv been wanting to go for years to the London one but it would just cost me way too much to get up there for like 1 day and id have to stay over night and everything so i cant =/

I will go one day tho haha!

Aww that's a shame - i've been saying the same thing for years but i'm determined to go to this next one!
@Jordana - it's being held at Alexandra place, London!

We're exhibiting (Frends Beauty Supply & Stilazzi), and we're staying in the West End at the Radisson. Can't wait! It's close enough to the show, but also near the night life. =)

For cheap cheerful yet clean and pristine hotels, try Travelodge and Premier Inn. There are loads of them, find the one closest to Ally Pally (alexandra palace) and book it! The earlier you book it, the cheaper it is. Right now you'll probably get a room for £30 a night, which in London is very cheap xx

Aww come anyways by yourself and you'll meet people, last year was my first time at imats and I braved it alone, but met such nice people who kept me company all day too. Lots of people go alone. And yes Andrew, travel lodge is defo the best idea
