I buy all drugstore mascaras EXCEPT for one high end that I am in love with. The MAC Haute & Naughty is my favorite. I only bought it because I got my makeup done at MAC before prom and I needed another product to buy besides the blush. Anyway when this one runs out I don't think I'll be repurchasing for a while just because the drugstore mascaras are the best!

I purchased a sample of Badgal Lash and the one good thing about it was it didn't dry up on me I ran out first which never happens. Unfortunately other than that it didn't seem to do anything extraordinary so I'm glad it was only a cheap sample. I'll be sticking to drugstore from now on but I tend to switch it up every time i go to the store so I don't really have a favourite.

I guess I tend to go high end, although a lot of times it's because I'll get a sample that I'll fall in love with and then buy the full size. I've had a few high end misses. MAC had this fibre rich mascara that was a complete disaster for me. I was so mad I paid so much for it! At first I hated Bare Essentials... now I love it even more than my Dior. Lancome's Defincil has never disappointed, especially the waterproof. I love how black my Smashbox mascara is too. Maybe my next purchase will be a recommended drugstore brand- I have a feeling they'd be good, if not equals, to the more expensive stuff.

I've tried just as many high end mascaras that have disappointed me as high street (drugstore) ones. Let downs were YSL False Lash Effect, Dior Extase, most Lancome, Diorshow Waterproof, Benefit Bad Gal, Clinique High Impact.
Winners were Clinique Long Pretty Lashes, Diorshow Blackout, Lancome Hypnose Precious Cells.
I usually go for high street brands because I go through mascara so quickly, and always get rid of it after the three months if I haven't used it up. There isn't enough of a difference for me to justify the higher price tag. And so Max Factor Masterpiece has been my mascara of choice since it launched a few years ago.

The only time I would buy a high end mascara is if I really liked a sample I received or won. For the most part I use drugstore mascaras though.

I've never been impressed with high end mascaras except for Dior Show. I tend to stick with my drugstore mascaras. There are so many good ones out there and they don't break the bank!

I did but then I figured why spend $30+ on a mascara you have to discard in 3 months. I now tend to stay w/ drug store. At the end of the day there are some really awesome cheap one out there and that does the same as the high end if not better. My current favorite is Maybelline Stiletto and Falsies combined.

It's not that I prefer high end, rather that they work best for me. All drugstore mascaras, no matter what, tend to flake or smudge, waterproof or not, this is also the same case for a couple of high end mascaras. Tarte's lights, camera, lashes, however has NEVER dissapointed me amd on top of that it's just amazing on my lashes.

You know I spend sometimes on high end ones and keep the wand for other mascaras.
