Heey everyone!

I'm finding it so hard to get views as a new beauty guru on youtube nowadays, so I thought I would make a post where everyone could post their channel & then people will start to notice people more, because at the moment, it's hard getting views & becoming a successful beauty guru on youtube!

I made this channel a while back, but took down all my videos because a lot of people are school were being very cruel! I have just recently been posting more videos & I will be doing them the whole summer!

I just want to comment on the people at school thing..
I'm soo scared to tell anyone that goes to my school, even my best friends, that I have a youtube channel. I know of people who have youtube channels and some in specific who do a few "beauty" type things and.. well, lets just say sometimes they sound very silly.. and I've heard a lot of people talking and laughing about some of their videos... I just don't want to be embarrassed and have people picking me apart or having them think that I think I'm some sort of wannabe big shot, because I'm not!! It makes me nervous thinking that it will get out! I probably won't post anything having to do with my youtube on my facebook until I graduate!

Shenandoah I'm in the same spot as you, but I just try not to think about it. People say what they want to make themselves look better. It doesn't matter what they say or think because it's only words, you don't have to tell them, no one's making you, but just remember that you're doing something you love and it's the same thing as making fun of them for doing football or hockey, etc. So don't let the thought eat you up, think about it when you get to that position. People will be jerks, keep you're head up high. Also remember that there are plenty of people who are in the same spot as you and everyone who has been before has gotten past it. hope this helped a little:) xo

I agree, I haven't told anyone except my family/boyfriend that I'm doing beauty videos. I really don't feel like being made fun of because of it, and some people can be so mean. Did you see otherjuicystar07's Throughout the years 10th grade video? Girls at her school started bullying her for doing videos, and that's just so cruel :(

So, the dilemma for me is whether I should post my videos on my (personal) facebook, and possibly get a couple of hundred subscribers, or keep it a secret and do it the hard way ;) hmm... it'll have to be my little secret for now! Also, I'm totally not into the sub 4 sub thing... I mean, I'll definitely subscribe if I like a person's videos, but if I don't... well, then what's the point? I personally would rather have 50 subscribers that honestly like my videos, than 500 subscribers who only subscribe to me because I subscribe to them.

@Kaylin I know I shouldn't but I know it was always bother me, so I just won't add the extra stress of me thinking everyone is saying things when maybe the aren't or maybe they are.. but it will just freak me out, you know?
@Sanda That is exactly why I kind of want to put it on my facebook because I know people that I know would watch and subscribe.. but sometimes I'm scared that it would be for the wrong reasons... Eek!

Sometimes I'm worried about people from my school finding out too, since a few people from my school already know I make videos, but they do too. Whether you make videos or not, keep in mind people will always find something bad to say if they want to. People pick apart others to simply make themselves feel better.
