St. Ives is amazing! I think it's around $2 at walmart, it smells like heaven and your skin will ALWAYS feel velvety smooth after. I bought it just 'cause it was the cheapest now it's my favorite face product!

I'm an Esthetician and I hate to say it but St. Ives is the worse thing you can use on ur face. You can def use it on ur body as an exfoliant but not ur face. You can easily make ur own at home w Sugar and Coconut oil, which is amazing for ur skin and you will also smell great. I use coconut oil on my face every night.

I just mix sugar and olive oil. The sugar exfoliates and the olive oil hydrates and brightens

Burt's Bees Willowbark deep pore scrub. The St. Ives scrub has shards of exfoliating beads that actually damage the skin- the BB's uses little circular beads that don't scratch up your skin.

I agree with Angela S don't buy into the hype St. Ives isn't good for your face. I use brown sugar with almond oil.

St. Ives!

st ives is horrible for your face. The apricot shell is too rough for the delicate skin on your face and can scratch your skin up. I do what Wendy does...about a teaspoon of Baking Soda with a gel face wash (like Philosophy's Purity Made Simple) and a few drops of water is perfect. Make sure the baking soda is well saturated, since it can create scratches on your skin as well. You can also use cornstarch, pure sugar (like Sugar in the Raw), Sea salt or if you wanna buy something premade, Lush Ocean Salt.
