Hi everyone!
I'm new to Beautylish but loving it already! Everyone seems so nice. I love it! :)
Anyway, I am going to be doing some beauty shots for my portfolio in the upcoming months and was wondering what the best foundation is for a flawless natural finish? This means no matter how far you zoom into the picture, it would be hard to tell the model was wearing makeup.
Any opinions or ideas would be much appreciated! I know the magic may even come from the primer or another product but share your wisdom!

Do you want it to be drugstore or prestige?

Whatever does the job. I don't mind paying a higher price if the product's worth it :)

I've tried on MUFE, but I honestly wouldn't pay the price! You should really give Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 hour Foundation a try! This stuff is amaaaazing! I'm wearing it on my prom day (lots of pictures being taken!) and it's also very long lasting while providing that very natural finish. :)

I like the Revelon Photo ready, or the Mayeblline Superstay. They both work really great and have full coverage. The Maybelline Superstay foundation stays on alot longer and seems to give the skin more of a matte finish. The Revelon foundation has flecks of sparkles so it makes your skin look dewey.

Thanks so much everyone! Definitely gonna steal a few samples of what was mentioned. Still haven't had the pleasure of trying NARS Sheer Glow as it's not sold here (Laaaaame) nor do we have a Sephora-esque store but hoping once I'm in Oz next week they'll have something for me. :)

Hi Lara!! A few recommendations from me would be Laura Mercier Creme Foundation or Dermablend smooth indulgence. I highly suggest these 2 because I do photography and make-up and these are highly pigmented and flawless and a little definitely goes a long way... and my clients look fabulous! I hope you get to try them out sometime. Much love and good luck!! :)

Thanks Cindy. Love me some Dermablend but haven't tried either of those products so will definitely take a look! :)

I would recommend a foundation without SPF, because when photographed it has a tendencey to wash out your face, and seem too light for your skin. However, I don't happen to know a foundation without SPF. XD

I suggest a foundation without too high of an SPF since it's light reflecting. You should try the Revlon Colorstay or the Chanel ones, the NARS sheerglow is awesome too. Vichy Dermablend foundation for spot application or the Dermablend cover cream for spot application, it's a thick consistency so blend it very well. If you want your model to look like she doesn't have any make up on you should try the Bourjous healthy mix as a thin base and then spot conceal with the Vichy Dermablend foundation or Dermablend cover cream. Hope i could help you out a little :D! (i'm new to beautylish too, It's great how nice people respond to each other)

When I do photo shoots I have always used MAC Face and Body foundation because depending on the coverage needed you can build to the desired result and it always comes out looking flawless. :)
