I has ecezema pretty much all my childhood. I would get it really bad on the back of my hands and in my elbows. I still get it on my cheeks a bit. I use vaseline on it. Yes, it's a bit greasy (especially on your face) but it moisturizes it really well and in the morning you can wipe/wash it off. Usually it's gone by the morning but if it's really bad it might take 2 or 3 nights.

If vaseline works then you may also want to consider A & D ointment. It's mainly for baby diaper rashes. I love it and use it as a lip balm at night, a cuticle cream and my husband puts it on his new tattoos to soothe the itch. It's great!

There are many over the counter eczema creams that you can pick up at any drugstore, but I have also heard of extra strength prescription creams that you can get by going to a dermatologist. :)

I don't have Eczema, but this drugstore brand is a fav with Eczema sufferers.
CeraVe -- a lot of sufferers loves their moisturizing lotion or cream.
CeraVe is a great line for people with sensitive skin, which I do have, and I suffer(ed) from really bad acne. This line has helped me keep my skin soft, smooth, and clear.
Oh and I know dermatologists out there have told their clients to try this line out... =) But yes, please see your dermatologist for help.
