I HATE the smashbox primer! I'm not sure what the hype is on it, it just makes me feel dry. But i'm super red and I use the make up for ever green primer. It will seriously change your life. It's like magic.

Oats! About once a week, just mask your face with a small handful of moistened plain oats (with maybe a dollop of honey). I've always had a very red face and now I work landscaping, so I'm even more red. Oats made a noticeable difference even the next morning. Give it a try! :)

I agree with Catey. Oats are amazing. I fill a cup or bowl with hot water (straight from the tap) and put a small handful of oats in it so soften. When they're slightly mushy (only takes about a minute) I grab the oats and press them against my face. The milky liquid that come outs of the oats are super good for your skin. Quite often, skin is red because it's inflamed. It might not be itchy but something is irritating it enough to cause colour change. Avenanthramides (thats how Aveeno was named) are found in oat extract and they are proven to help reduce redness.

green concealers is bull. I have rosacea in my face and it never helped me. it just cakes on and gives your foundation a green tone. Mix a bit of a cooler tone foundation in with your regular foundation. my redness stays under control doing that method and i have pretty bad blotchy red skin

I have redness on my face where I do not want it and the main thing that I have found that helps is using a yellow tinted foundation rather than a pink tinted foundation. I also agree with the oats suggestions. I did a facemask with my friends the other day that had yogurt and oats and a few other things and I noticed that my skin is a lot less red today!
