If you exfloliate, steam your face, and then try that method above, it may help a lot! :D

You should use clean&clears blackhead eraser, it looks like the morning burst surge. Also you can put your face under hot water for 10 seconds then put it in ice cold water for 10 seconds after, the hot water opens the pores and removes dirt then the cold water closes the pores. Another thing is to use exfoliaters try to use more natural ones and not ones that are too astringent. hope this helps!

What kind of cleanser are you using? Sulfates are a big reason why we get blackheads... All a blackhead mainly is... is hardened and oxidized oil. If you're using a sulfate free cleanser, your skin won't produce more oil to make up for any of the dehydration that cleansers w/ sulfates cause. Moisturize and exfoliate as well :)

Mica - I have tried it! My pores are a bit stubborn though, and don't really like opening up. So, I normally have to exfoliate my face and then steam it in order for pore strips and stuff to work.

I also have really bad blackheads on my nose so I know where you are coming from! I have not found a cleanser that actually works because mine only go away if I pop them, but what ive found is if you boil a pot of water and then hold your face over the steam, they open up easier. After that you could use a pore strip or even just pop them yourself (thats what I do).

I agree with steaming to open the pores before trying to clear out blackheads.
However, you may want to check your daily products and figure out which one is causing them. It's always easier to treat the source, rather than constantly be struggling with the symptoms.

thanks Tamara i think im gonna throw out my regime and start a new one gradually. Are there any specifics i should look out for?

It really depends on what sort of products you use and how frequently.
I know that when I used to have the same problem it turned out to be my moisturizer. Sunscreen is another common culprit, and also it could be that if you regularly are wearing foundation that your makeup remover or facial cleanser isn't cutting it.
