Look on amazon, they are quite cheap on there. They are really good brushes, you should defiantly give them a try. Also try talking to your mum about it. If its your own money she can't really stop you! X

Yeah they're definitely worth the price. I have some and they are by far the best brushes I've ever used. they don't shed and they stay nice and soft even after washing.

Those brushes are best around and definitely worth the price. I found them cheapest on Amazon and eBay. I have full set only because Amazon had 30% off them and I saved some money for my B'day present.
I would suggest to try and buy Travel Essentials first as this set has 3 brushes to create full make up look and is great start for Real Techniques collection (Multitask Brush for blush, bronzer or powder, Essential Foundation brush for face stuff like bb cream, foundation or concealer and Domed Shadow brush for eyes - my favourite eyeshadow brush of them all). You can also get single Powder Brush as this brush is really fantastic.
Core Collection (face) and Starter Kit (eyes) have many brushes and some of them I must admit I don't even use. And there are few single brushes to complete collection as well.
True, they work very well and are easy to use and I am no pro in putting make up on. Wash very well, dry quickly and no shedding.
