Go on YouTube and type in "pin curl". There'll be loads of tutorials there for you to use.

They're called pin curls and there are a lot of great how to articles online but basically here's what you do:

1. Wet your hair or put in gel

2. Separate your hair into small sections and twist it around to make a tiny bun

3. Put the bobbi pins in your hair crisscross so they form an x over the center of the twists you just made

4. Do this to all of your hair and then cover it with a handkerchief or a shower cap and let sit for several hours. Usually people do this the night before and just sleep on them. It's a little uncomfortable, though.

5. Take out the bobbi pins and style the curls gently with your fingers.

6. Spray with hairspray to set them.

7. Enjoy your new look!
