Honestly...change your 'friends'! Because if they cannot accept you for who you are and laugh at you they are definitely not your friends!
Never change your style and who you are for anyone just yourself.

I also have a different style to my friends and I just said thats what I like and I'm not going to change it if you have a problem with it. Just stand up for yourself, don't change for them. If they don't like it well too bad.

My honest opinion is your clothes aren't the problem your friends are :/ wear whatever makes you happy and If they don't like it it's not like your making them wear it so I don't see why they need to make a fuss!!
I have allways worn wet look , leather , spikes , zips , chains , lace the works I just loved it but this was long before it became "fashion" and people would make a joke of it too and now it's in fashion and there all wearing it!! :/
Don't follow the trends, set them!! :)

Ignore it girl. I had friends like that in high school. They're just jealous and immature. If you stand up to them or ignore them and act like it doesn't bother you it'll stop. Or get friends that are actually nice to you.

F your friends, people made fun of me too and now all the stuff I liked is mainstream. Your friends aren't worth keeping if they make fun of your, that's low...

Those aren't friends. Those are haters. My momma told me when she was young her own cousins that were her "friend" kept telling her your style is ugly and of course she listened and she throw away all her clothes and for nothing because her own cousins copied her style and so my mom felt stupid for listening to them. So you just ignore them and try to stay away before they posion your soul..

Either change your friends, or you could tease them back.

Those aren't your friends. Time to swap them out for a better crew who isn't going to make you feel yucky. Stay true to yourself.
