Okay I'm a little out of the loop. But what exactly is bb cream. I see and hear people talking about it a lot. But I don't know what it is. I'm pretty set in my own makeup routine so I'm just wondering if its something I should add..

Depends on what kind of bb cream you're looking at. To me, there's a difference between Asian and Western ones. Asian ones have a thicker consistency, and will often focus their skin care properties more specifically...wrinkle fighting, acne treating, skin whitening, etc. American/Western ones are more cosmetic-y skincare...prime, smoothing, pore "minimizing." I also think...don't quote me though, the consistency is a but different...the Asian ones have a thick, gel-ish feel, and the American/Western ones are creamy/lotion-y. I think the Asian ones, for the most part, kind of oxidize to your color, but the American/Western ones don't really do that...but both don't offer that big it a range in color so darker skin tones probably can't use them.
Both versions usually have a significant SPF though...
