I use clinique stay matte and a setting powder when I do use a foundation, but sometimes just wear concealer and powder. My question is, what should I use to apply my foundation? I currently use a regular makeup sponge, but I notice it absorbs a lot of the foundation and with how much I paid, I don't want to waste any. I don't like using my fingers because it just gets messy. How else can I apply it? Help! :)

You can invest in a makeup brush. One of my holy grail products is the sigma f40 flat top brush. You would just stipple your foundation on or buff it in circular motions. It gives such a beautiful finish. I have 3 of these brushes, 1 for myself and 2 for clients. And if you want to try, try wetting the makeup sponge, then squeezing out the excess and using your foundation, since the sponge is wet and has absorbed what it can already, not as much makeup is absorbed. Oh and the sigma brush is pretty cheap for a quality brush. :) real techniques face brush is a great alternative as well. About ~12$ I believe at Walmart or target. I'm not sure on the price completely but it works almost like the sigma brush. :)

For me using my bare hands work best. The makeup does not get absorbed and it is the best way to even out your makeup.

Stippling makeup brush is the best. I've Tried everything and honestly that's the best brush to apply your foundation

You should try dampening your sponge. :)

I use a stippling brush. For me it's the best because it gives the best coverage. I use the real techniques one and I love it.! :))

I use a stippling brush & when I apply make up on clients I use a damp sponge (as I can just throw them out after)
