We finally have them in Target in Canada and I want to try their eyeshadow. Does anyone have any colour or palette recommendations? Also what are you overall thoughts on this brand?

I love the brand! There eyeshadows and lip products are amazing! I didn't think target had Nyx though? I know they have elf which is pretty good and cheap! :)

Target Canada doesn't sell elf but they do sell NYX. I'm glad you like their products I wanted to buy some tomorrow.

I love their shimmer and matte eyeshadows. They're very silky and pigmented.
And if you have pale cool-toned skin, their blush in Taupe is perfect for contouring. Every other product I tried looked too warm on my skin but this was the perfect color!

I have mixed feelings on NYX. They're prices are amazing and I love the jumbo eye pencils and eyeshadows. But the lipsticks were HORRIBLE, in my opinion.

I HATE the jumbo eye pencils! I got one in black bream from urban outfitters. I really REALLY wanted to love it, but within an hour it just ran down my waterline

Jumbo pencils are pretty much only good for hilighting tear duct and brow bone so Stick ti colours like milk and cottage cheese and if you warnt a primer then I highly recommended the eyeshadow Base and their hypershine lipglosses are awesome I think their called hypershine but they have a cute bow on the lid and the shade I have is french kiss x
