I have always used MAC Studio Fix foundation. It has great coverage and a nice finish. I have been faithfully wearing makeup everyday for the past 5 months and I notice that I can't get rid of some of my acne blemishes. Or I get rid of them and new ones set in. Lately, I've heard that MAC foundation is notorious for breakouts 😱 I've been thinking of switching to NARS Sheer Glow or Matte foundation to see if MAC really is breaking me out. Any thoughts on that particular product? On a side note: I have combo skin and its either oily or just dry. Right now, it's in it's dry phase :(

Nars sheer glow is an amazing foundation, it's just a lot lighter than Mac studio fix so it won't give you as much coverage (I think it's supposed to be light-medium build able coverage). I've heard that its made for dryer skin so I'm not sure how it would work with your combination skin, and it is pretty expensive to try without knowing. I would say to to a beauty counter and get them to put it on you, then see how it lasts throughout the day to find out if you want to buy it.

Clinique cleared up my face for good. I don't remember which one it was since I moved to mac after my face cleared up. But they have a foundation with great coverage + something that gets rid of it acne
