If you are wearing dark jeans you can go for a peach and deep blue eyeshadow look or you can go for the classic neutral eye. To spice up the neutral eye, you could do a tourquois color on the lower lashline.

Don't match your shirt. That's tacky. You have to compliment it by using a color that coordinates or using a color on the opposite end of the color spectrum.
