No heat! Or do what I do. Curl your hair once a week using a ton of heat protectant.

Whilst at the salon my hairdresser had pointed out the dryness of my hair, she then recommended a leave in hair mask, as instructed I started using it and found my hair felt mug healthier and was growing a lot faster, rinsing my conditioner out with cold water really helps my hair to but that's just my hair type :s
