I'm looking to get my hair done next week, but I'd like to have some money left over for clothes. What I want done might cost a pretty penny, so I have other options that may be easier on my wallet. Would trying to explore cheaper options insult the stylist?

Yeah they work with you to get what you want in the price range you want. If they get offended they need to check themselves lol.

I hope all goes well. I've been meaning to venture out & find a new stylist. She's always been funny about $. I'll be really firm about my budget and that I absolutely cannot go over. She ALWAYS goes over ;_;

If she always goes over I'd look for a new stylist but then I'm a cheapo, so I'd be pretty ticked.
