So this may seem like a rant but all too often on this site and on other makeup centered websites I see people trying to acheive the "Kim K" look. Why I think she is pretty, please young ladies stop trying to idolzing and immatiate this women's look. She is not the only standard of beauty in hollywood or in the world, you women are all BEAUTIFUL in your own right stop trying to conform to one standard of beauty. Aishwarya Rai, Nia Long, Joss Stone, Solange, Lauryn Hill, M.I.A, Lucy Lui, Isla Fisher, Eva Mendes these are all women in Hollywood that I think are gorgeous, they are of all different ethnicities and beautiful in their own way. Gen B, I never said her makeup was bad in fact I think her makeup is always on point. Its just that a lot of young women are overly infatuated with trying to re-create her look like its THE only standard of beauty. I've never seen her show nor do I really know her media persona so this post wasn't created to attack her as a person. Again that's just my opinion and you are entitled to yours as well. Exchanges of ideas are always welcomed!

I think Kim's look is mostly smokey eye and nude lips. It's popular and Kim does it well. There is people who would like to look like her but others just want to recreate the makeup look.

I don't think they idolize her but rather her makeup. It's perfection. The other women you listed I feel tend to play it safe with makeup. It's either nothing special or horrible. Kim's makeup is always perfect and there are techniques that are used to achieve her p.

Kim k's makeup is always on point and I think this is the reason young girls look to her to recreate the makeup on themselves. Everyone's idea of beauty is obv different.
I think Eva longoria, deepika padukone are stunning as are a lot of other celebs.
But I agree with ivonne tht if you strip some of the most beautiful women in media of their expensive makeup n clothes your left with ordinary!
