Exfoliators also work wonders for getting rid of dead skin. I had the same issue and I started using a St.Ives medicated exfoliating scrub. It's inexpensive and is a great scrub that isn't to hard on your skin :)

It may be an imbalance in your hormones, I had the same thing happen when I went off the pill

When I went on the pill and switched to a different one my skin got bad. The doctor told me it was due to imbalance in my hormones going on and my body changing to the new pill. There was nothing I could due. Just wait it out.

Do a exfoliating scrub and drink lots of water. Our skin excessively sheds when we are dehydrated from within!

It's because of the hormonal imbalance of your skin. You either have to wait it out or go back on birth control.
