I just dyed my hair at home with a permanent chocolate brown dye. but when I took off my gloves after application I noticed that one of my nails was stained brown (think my nail pierced the top of the glove). now my nail is a horrible brown colour. any ideas how to remove the staining on it? and I can't hide it with nail polish as I'm in work tomorrow and we are not allowed wear polish in work. help please.

A baking soda and vinegar solution should whiten them.

Milk soaked on a cotton pad believe it or not takes dye off the skin :)

I usually buff it & use a strengthening top coat to keep it looking good :)

The same thing happened to me the last week. I used vinegar to remove it from my skin but I used acetone to removed it from my nails. Not all the product was gone but I would say the 80% of the dye color was gone :)

It not permanent on your nails so don't worry :) just use baking soda and vinegar or just buff them simple. It will surely come off

Thanks got it off. wanted to rid of the staining because it actually made my finger look dirty and I work in a healthcare setting so presentation and cleanliness are key.
