Contacts + Make Up =??

I wear contacts and no matter what I do make up ALWAYS gets in my contact & makes dry spots. I'm thinking its the eyeliner... Does anyone know a trick to stop this or a waterproof eyeliner maybe?? HELLLLLLP.

What contacts do you use? I have night and day contacts and absolutely nothing irritates them 😋

I wear contacts also and I usually do my whole eye make up look including eye liner then put my contacts in and do mascara and touch ups!
