Try using tape to help you making the wing until you get the hang of it.

Try to make small strokes,and than connect them.do not just make one line cuz at first it won't work out,trust me.you could first practise with white pencil liner.don't do it thick.if you do too little,you can allways add more,but if you add too much,you would have to wipe it all.

The best tip I ever learned was to try and make the wing be a continuation of your lower lash line when it flicks up :)

Really all you can do is practice, at first my wings were completely different but now I can get them both prefect on the first try.
