I've never done a smokey eye & was curious if anybody has any tips or a chart telling you what colors (dark,light) goes where? also do you need all the brushes or can you do without them? If y'all know of any good drugstore eye shadow for this I'd appreciate it, thanks :)

If your looking for good cheap brushes I love ELF brushes. I get them at Target for only a couple bucks and work really well for me. I use them every day and have no problem with them.

It depends on your eye shape. I say check your eye shape and then go to youtube to see how you can do it.

I don't know if this would be flattering for your eye shape but I know people put scotch tape, starting from the outer corner of your eye as if you were doing a winged liner and that helps keep things looking even lol :)

You can get eyelid tape to fix that problem I have never used it but know people that have. But if you do it you have to be 100% dedicated to it. One of my girlfriends wanted to even out her eyelids and had to wear her tape everyday for 3 months!! But it definitely payed off her eyelids are now even and her eye make up looks so much better! If this is not a concern to you then you can look on YouTube for some tips on how to make your eye make up look the same w uneven eyelids. Pixiwoo has a really good tutorial on how to do it. Look on YouTube as well. there are so many ways you could do a Smokey eye. you can smoke out any eye. it depends on your look.

Wowwww I've never seen uneven eyelids!! you will definitely have to experiment to find out what works for you to have your eyelids looking even. most women boobs are uneven too, and it can often go unnoticed. I thought I'd throw that in!!

Ok April if you can't find a store where you can buy this product. Go to prettyandcute.com they have all kinds of neat things and eyelid tape is one of them. If this is something you plan on investing in be sure to get the double sided tape I heard it works a lot better. Good luck!! And remember this will be a Hugh commitment! You will have to wear your tape everyday for at least 22 hrs for about 3 months! But I think it's absolutely worth it!

I have uneven eyelids as well and I use concealer on top and around my eyes to even it out then I do my eyeshadow.
