Has anyone tried Primer both under and over Foundation?

Just curious if any of you girls have tried putting you face primer both under and over your foundation I think I heard someone somewhere say it helps your foundation last longer?

Sometimes I put a little over my laugh lines but it doesn't do much:/

I use it under. It does help a lot with creasing, oil control, and pores. Sometimes after my foundation, I notice that not all my pores were covered. So what I do is this:
Primer
Foundation (buffed on in circular motions)
Then I let it dry and set for a bit
I blot with a tissue
Then I take a little more primer and swirl it in the spots that need pore control
Then dab it with the brush. (Don't add any extra foundation)

Try urban decay primer potion (the eyeshadow primer) for laugh lines before foundation. Works wonders!
