Is t/ gel anti dandruff shampoo good for sore itchy scalp?

I don't know exactly what t/ gel is but I do know tea tree oil is good for an itchy scalp. And if your scalp is itchy and dry it may be better for you to use a conditioner to wash with instead of a shampoo as shampoo strips your hair of nutrients and oils.

I find it amazing, although I'm not a fan of the smell

Yes! It's the only thing I've ever used that actually works. Screw head and shoulders! I know the smell is really strong bc it's made with coal tar but if you use a conditioner it helps cover the smell up.

Thanks for all you're comments. I've been wondering for a while to buy it or not going to buy it now. @ Victoria , Head and shoulders is terrible it just takes the dandruff off you're scalp and it ends up all in you're hair. Thanks all xx

I've had the flakes end up in my hair too... Brushing it out and blow drying gets rid of the flakes that are still hanging around. Just don't use the highest heat setting or you might create more dandruff.

I've had a terrible itchy scalp (turned out to be eczema on my scalp) ANYWAYS it does help but if you want faster results because I know how uncomfortable it can get , I would go see a dermatologist or a regular physician for a prescription shampoo. that's what I switched to. definitely way better :) good luck.

It might be eczema on my scalp, I have some on my hairline on my neck, I also just found a lump on the right side of the back of my neck ( could that be related?) I'm going to go see the doctor about it.

I had a bump on the front of my hair line right where everyone could see. it was painful also. unfortunately I'm not a doctor so can't tell you if it's the same thing as mine :/ I know my dermatologist was way more helpful than my regular doctor. my dermatologist called my scalp condition something but I forgot the name of it exactly. it started with the letter S. I remember googling the name of it, it basically was eczema just a different term. also possibly ask your doctor if a steroid would help temporary to help bring the bump down. good luck Nicole!! and just know your scalp will get better it just takes time :)

Www.moogoo.com.au their shampoo is AMAZING. I have the most sensitive scalp known to man, and it is fantastic. Not a single chemical, and 100% cruelty free. Using chemicals to cure scalp issues is a bit illogical.
