What are the best make up brands? Which ones last longer? Or is it all up to opinion?

I love MAC, Tarte, and Costal Scents, Urban Decay, and then Sigma for brushes. A lot of people say good things about Elf but I personally don't like their eyeshadow. It seemed super chalky and not very pigmented to me.

Mac is a really prestigious and high quality brand- it's expensive but definitely worth the price for most of their products.

For caucasian and african american skin: mac, nars, sephora, too faced, benefit... etc. ; for asian skin, eurasian, & latina: etude house, skinfood, missha, majolica majorca, bobbi brown, clinique, tony moly, holika holika, the face shop, smashbox (my opinion and based on what my mentor said in makeup artistry classes)
