Chantix gives you suicidal thoughts..even my mom and grandma experienced that.. its in the warning but it happens more often than not..don't recommend it even though it may have worked for some ppl. good luck though I've been trying..ugh.

I'm glad you are trying to quit! I am disabled (severely asthmatic, yes this includes the special parking) because of second hand smoke exposure. It damaged my lungs, and it has permanently left me unable to run, do any sort of exercise, walk longer than about 100 yards, wear strong perfume or lotion, or even wear loose powder face products. Even exposure to the chemicals on your hair and clothes can cause problems for your loved ones (third hand exposure). I have been hospitalized and almost died from asthma attacks brought on by people smoking in public places where I couldn't avoid them (ie right outside of the doorway or window). If thinking about the damage to your own body isn't enough motivation to quit, think about the damage done to those around you. Your children, your family and friends, random bystanders you pass in the street. Smoking doesn't just affect you, it affects everyone. I sincerely hope you are able to quit.
