It would most likely be genetics! It sucks I know! Maybe you can try some eye drops to stop it. But I have it and I just deal with it! Mine always start up after someone's talking and I look like I'm really into what they are saying!

You most likely have dry eyes. My eyes tear every 15 minutes and my eye doctor told me that I have dry eyes so I take eye drops every night.

I agree with Daria. I had the same problem, and my eye dr told me that a common side effect of dry eye is watery eyes (seems kind of weird and backwards but its true) I was on restasis for a while and it helped. Now I just take over the counter eye drops about 6 times a day. I use refresh brand but my dr said systane is also a good brand to use.

I have the same problem the doctor told me to use artificial years eye drops. It does help when I remember to do it.
